At First Baptist Church we have 2 Sunday morning services.

Our 8:30 AM service is a more traditional style worship service in which

the congregation is led in singing traditional hymns

Our 10:55 AM service is a contemporary style worship service

During this service the congregation is led by the First Baptist Praise Band in singing

a blend of contemporary worship music and updated hymns.

As with all other in person groups, the Celebration Choir and the children's choir is not currently meeting due to COVID19 restrictions. We currently have plans to resume many of these activities during PHASE 3 of our RESTART plan - Together Again.

The Celebration Choir

 Our Adult Choir is comprised of people with a wide variety of musical skills and abilities. It is the primary worship-leading choir and is the entry/starting point for most adults desiring to serve in the music ministry.

The Celebration Orchestra

Occasionally, we will utilize an orchestra / band in our worship services. This group is open to musicians in high school or older and helps to lead in some worship services, special programs, and seasonal events.

First Baptist Praise Band

First Baptist Praise Band is our Praise Team ministry that is comprised of people who love the Lord and who have a passion for worship. Our Celebration Choir and Praise Teams lead the music portion of our contemporary worship service and are accompanied by a variety of musicians.

Making music and singing to God can be a lot of fun! Our children's music program creates an environment where kids can learn about God and how to glorify Him through music. We seek to teach and develop musical skills, Biblical concepts, and worship leading.

This group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
