Meals on Wheels was founded by volunteers, is serviced by a volunteer Board of Directors, and is supported by volunteers like you who are committed to serving our community.

Meals on Wheels mission is to provide home delivered meals to homebound seniors and disabled people of all ages.

The Meals on Wheels program offers hot, frozen, or shelf stable meals to persons who are at high nutrition risk and significantly physically disabled.

These meals enable their clients to keep their independence longer.

DAYS NEEDED:

MONDAY - FRIDAY

Volunteer for 1 day or more

TIME NEEDED: APPROXIMATELY 1 - 2 HOURS

Pick up deliveries at 9:00 am at Rozer Park

REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license and current vehicle registration and insurance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick up route sheet and hot and cold containers, any other items to be delivered to recipients (memos, envelopes, birthday bags, etc.)
• Deliver meals and socialize briefly with each recipient
• Offer to assist recipient with cutting, pouring, etc
